Candice, I just found your blog via the Insulin Pump Web Ring.
My (almost) 10-yr old son was dx'd type 1 last August, and just started pumping with the Animas in January. While it's presented a host of new challenges, Joseph loves his pump and never wants to go back to shots. And we ALL love the freedom pumping provides.
